Workbench Mail Tab Overview

The Mail tab can be accessed from the Workbench by selecting the PrescribeIT tab > Mail tab. The Mail tab stores all incoming and outgoing Clinician Communications.

Field Description
Quick Filter

Filters the communications. Received is the defaulted filter selected when the Mail tab is opened. The following options can be selected:

  • All - displays all communications.
  • Received - displays communications received from the prescriber.
  • Draft - displays outgoing communications that have been started but not sent.
  • Sent - displays outgoing communications that have been sent to the prescriber.
  • Deleted - displays deleted communications.
Mail (#) Displays the number of unread communications in the Mail tab.
Communications Summary

Provides a summary of communications by displaying the following information:

  • Status - there are 5 different statuses:
    • - Unread communication
    • - Read communication
    • - Draft communication
    • - Sent communication
    • - Failed communication
  • Doctor - the prescriber that sent the communication through PrescribeIT®. If the name displays in bold, the prescriber is not synchronized. For more information, see Synchronizing Prescribers Using PrescribeIT® Registry Compare .
  • Subject - subject of the message.
  • Patient - the patient that the communication is associated to. If the name displays in bold, the patient is not synchronized. For more information, see Synchronizing Existing PharmaClik Rx Patients.
  • Priority - indicates the communication has a high priority.
  • Attachments - indicates if the message has an attachment from the prescriber.
Action Buttons

The following actions can be performed in the Mail tab:

  • New - creates a new communication to send to a prescriber.
  • Detail - opens a selected communication.
  • Reply - replies to a communication received from a prescriber.
  • Delete - deletes a selected communication.
  • Refresh - refreshes the Mail tab.
